Refund Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2025

Overview

This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for SmoothQ services. All payments are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all customer service inquiries and refund requests.

Payment Processing

SmoothQ uses Paddle.com as our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, you are purchasing from Paddle, not directly from SmoothQ. Paddle is responsible for:

  • Processing all payments
  • Handling refund requests
  • Managing customer billing inquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws
  • Providing customer support for payment-related issues

Refund Eligibility

General Refund Policy

Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be refused if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.

Time Limitations

  • All refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of the original purchase date
  • Refund requests received after 60 days will not be processed
  • Refunds for subscription services are not available for unused portions of billing periods

SaaS Subscription Refunds

  • No refunds are provided for unused subscription periods
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges
  • Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period
  • Access to SmoothQ services will continue until the end of your current billing period after cancellation

Trial Periods

  • If a free trial is offered, you may cancel during the trial period without charge
  • Cancellation during the trial period must be completed before the trial expires to avoid charges

Consumer Rights

Digital Content Rights

Your right as a consumer to cancel your order does not apply to digital content (such as SmoothQ software access) that you have started to download, stream, or otherwise use.

Faulty or Non-Conforming Services

Consumer rights regarding services that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose remain unaffected by this policy.

Sales Tax Refunds

If you've been charged sales tax and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a sales tax refund if permitted by applicable laws. You must contact Paddle within 60 days of purchase to request a sales tax refund.
